The track like the album as a whole, is full of nuanced dynamics, slick chord changes and fluid guitar parts. New album Blue For You is due out this summer 2018 with great originals and the title track written by Russ Ballard who also played bass and produced the track! I look forward to the return gig. At times this works really well as her brief solos make their impact, but at other times her well crafted material cries out for just a tad more guitar. She seems content with an understated style and plenty of stylistic diversity to draw the listener in and always keeps us wanting more. You bet your life they are….
!. Beki is an exceptional guitarist with an expressive and rich singing voice. My favorite is my Stratocaster that was given to me by Stevie Ray Vaughn. He went on to work with Barry Ryan, Cahoots, Paul Young and many others, including Level 42. Beki Brindle is a tasteful guitarist, a thoughtful songwriter and an engaging vocalist who on the evidence of this album is only a couple of stellar guitar solos short of making a significant dent on the contemporary blues scene. Beki is a powerful talented performer who keeps your attention from the moment she hits the stage until the very last note and you then you want more.
